وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجۡعِ
I swear by the sky that rains,
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدۡعِ
and the earth that cracks open (for plants),
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلٞ فَصۡلٞ
this is a decisive word,
وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلۡهَزۡلِ
and it is not a joke.
إِنَّهُمۡ يَكِيدُونَ كَيۡدٗا
They are devising plans,
وَأَكِيدُ كَيۡدٗا
and I Am devising plans.
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ رُوَيۡدَۢا
So leave the disbelievers alone at the moment; give them respite for a while.
