Al-Fatihah
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
(1:1) In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate1
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
(1:2) Praise2 be to Allah, the Lord3 of the entire
universe.

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
(1:3) The Merciful, the Compassionate4
مَٰلِكِ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
(1:4) The Master of the Day of Recompense5.
إِيَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِينُ
(1:5) You alone do we worship6, and You alone do we turn for help7
ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ
(1:6) Direct us on to the Straight Way8,
صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
(1:7) The way of those whom You have favoured9, who did not incur
Your wrath, who are not astray0.
