This Q refers to question ID 1293 titled "Quran reader". When verses like Ayatul Kursi (or last verses of Al-Baqara) is read 3 times, is it optional to say "Auzubilla.." everytime when the verse is read? Similarly if someone reads , say Sura Ikh-las 3 times, can he/she say "Basmala" everytime?

The Sunnah is to seek refuge by Allah from the cursed Satan only when starting your recitation, and for one time only per session, while reciting Al-Basmalah (saying Bisme Allahe Al….) is a must whenever you read from the beginning of any Surah even if you kept repeating it, obviously except for Surat Al-Tawbah.
