Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Allah be upon you. Is it permissible that I hold the Mus~haf (The Noble Qur'an) and read while I am not purified from minor ritual impurity? Kindly provide the evidence. May Allah reward you amply.

Praise be to Allah; Prayers and Peace of Allah be upon the Messenger, his household, his companions and his followers.
The majority of scholars are of the view that the purified only can touch the Mus~haf. It does not matter that one recites what one memorizes when in minor ritual impurity status. One must not recite Qur'an when in major ritual impurity status until one is purified. Nothing would keep the Prophet (PBUH) from reciting the Qur'an apart from major ritual impurity.
