The best Interpretation of the Noble Qur'an
Peace, Merci and Blessings of Allah be upon you, our dear Sheikh, Salah as-Sawi. Praise be to Allah. May Allah reward you for all the clarifications and guidance you give to this ummah in what is difficult to understand of the Noble Qur'an. My question, dear Sheikh, is about the best authenticated book of interpretation of the Noble Qur'an. There are several interpretations; but we are not knowledgeable enough to distinguish among them. I am aware of a link, which I paste at the end that presents the opinion of the contemporary scholars on the book 'Safwat at-Tafaseer' by His Eminence Sheikh as-Saboony. Is it true that the book contains some mistakes as mentioned? Which book of interpretation is the best and most trusted? May Allah reward you amply. http://www.sabeell.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1977

In the Name of Allah The All-Merciful, The Ever-Merciful

Praise be to Allah; Prayers and Peace of Allah be upon the Messenger, his household and his companions.

Allah has confined infallibility to His Book and the Sunnah (traditions) of His Prophet (PBUH), and then to the consensus of the Ummah. The heritage of all people is subject to be accepted or rejected except that of the Prophet (PBUH). Perhaps the most reliable book of interpretation is that by Ibn-Katheer and its summaries. Be sure to choose the certified copies.

Some of the affiliates who examined the book 'Safwat at-Tafaseer' made some scientific corrections. However, this does not mean rejecting it as a whole and associate it with the books of the innovators; to our knowledge, none  of those who made these corrections said that. You should refer to these corrections when you read in this book. I advise you to stay away from these disputes to protect yourself; concern yourself only with what is beneficial to you.

I ask Allah to grant us success and rightness. And Allah knows best.
