### الآية 100:1

> وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا [100:1]

Al-'Adiyat 
-----------

---

وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا


(I swear) by those (horses) that run snorting,

---

### الآية 100:2

> فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا [100:2]

فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا


then those that create sparks by striking (their hoofs) on the stones,

---

### الآية 100:3

> فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا [100:3]

فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا


then those that invade at morning,

---

### الآية 100:4

> فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا [100:4]

فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا


then raise, at the same time, a trail of dust,

### الآية 100:5

> فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا [100:5]

فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا


then enter, at the same time, into the centre of the (opposing) host,

---

### الآية 100:6

> إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ [100:6]

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ


man is, indeed, very ungrateful to his Lord,

### الآية 100:7

> وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ [100:7]

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ


and he himself is a witness to that fact,

---

### الآية 100:8

> وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ [100:8]

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ


and in his love for wealth, he is very intense.

### الآية 100:9

> ۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ [100:9]

۞أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ


Does he not then know (what will happen) when all that is contained in the graves will be overturned,

### الآية 100:10

> وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ [100:10]

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ


and all that is contained in the hearts will be exposed.

---

### الآية 100:11

> إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ [100:11]

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ


Surely your Lord, that day, is fully aware of them.
