### الآية 100:1

> وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا [100:1]

(1) By the racers, panting,\[1967\] 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1967\]- i.e., the horses of those fighting for Allāh's cause as they race to attack the enemy.

### الآية 100:2

> فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا [100:2]

(2) And the producers of sparks \[when\] striking\[1968\] 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1968\]- Their hoofs while galloping over rocky terrain.

### الآية 100:3

> فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا [100:3]

(3) And the chargers at dawn,\[1969\] 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1969\]- While the enemy is unaware.

### الآية 100:4

> فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا [100:4]

(4) Stirring up thereby \[clouds of\] dust,

### الآية 100:5

> فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا [100:5]

(5) Arriving thereby in the center\[1970\] collectively, 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1970\]- i.e., penetrating into the enemy ranks during a surprise attack.

### الآية 100:6

> إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ [100:6]

(6) Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.

### الآية 100:7

> وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ [100:7]

(7) And indeed, he is to that a witness.\[1971\]
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1971\]- Through his speech and his actions.

### الآية 100:8

> وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ [100:8]

(8) And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.

### الآية 100:9

> ۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ [100:9]

(9) But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered

### الآية 100:10

> وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ [100:10]

(10) And that within the breasts is obtained,\[1972\] 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1972\]- i.e., when all secrets are made known.

### الآية 100:11

> إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ [100:11]

(11) Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is \[fully\] Aware.\[1973\] 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1973\]- Fully acquainted and familiar with everything about each one of them.
