### الآية 101:1

> الْقَارِعَةُ [101:1]

1\. The hour that strikes the hearts of people because of the severity of its horrors.

### الآية 101:2

> مَا الْقَارِعَةُ [101:2]

2\. What is this hour that strikes the hearts of people because of the severity of its horrors?

### الآية 101:3

> وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ [101:3]

3\. O Messenger! And what do you know of this hour that strikes the hearts of people because of the severity of its horrors? It is the Day of Judgement.

### الآية 101:4

> يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ [101:4]

4\. On the day when the hearts of people will be struck, they will be like locusts, dispersed here and there.

### الآية 101:5

> وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنْفُوشِ [101:5]

5\. And the mountains will be like carded wool, in the way they will move from their places with force.

### الآية 101:6

> فَأَمَّا مَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ [101:6]

6\. As for the one whose good deeds will outweigh his evil deeds.

### الآية 101:7

> فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَاضِيَةٍ [101:7]

7\. He will live a contented life which he will achieve in Paradise.

### الآية 101:8

> وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ [101:8]

8\. And as for the one whose evil deeds outweigh his good deeds.

### الآية 101:9

> فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ [101:9]

9\. His abode and permanent resting place will be hell on the Day of Judgement.

### الآية 101:10

> وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ [101:10]

10\. O Messenger! What do you know what that is?

### الآية 101:11

> نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ [101:11]

11\. It is the intensely hot hellfire.
