### الآية 51:1

> وَالذَّارِيَاتِ ذَرْوًا [51:1]

Az-Zariyat 
-----------

---

وَٱلذَّـٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرۡوٗا


By (the winds) that scatter dust.

---

### الآية 51:2

> فَالْحَامِلَاتِ وِقْرًا [51:2]

فَٱلۡحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقۡرٗا


And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water;

---

### الآية 51:3

> فَالْجَارِيَاتِ يُسْرًا [51:3]

فَٱلۡجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسۡرٗا


And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness;

---

### الآية 51:4

> فَالْمُقَسِّمَاتِ أَمْرًا [51:4]

فَٱلۡمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمۡرًا


And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command;

---

### الآية 51:5

> إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ [51:5]

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٞ


Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true.

### الآية 51:6

> وَإِنَّ الدِّينَ لَوَاقِعٌ [51:6]

وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٞ


And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen.

---

### الآية 51:7

> وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْحُبُكِ [51:7]

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡحُبُكِ


By the heaven full of paths,

---

### الآية 51:8

> إِنَّكُمْ لَفِي قَوْلٍ مُخْتَلِفٍ [51:8]

إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِي قَوۡلٖ مُّخۡتَلِفٖ


Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran).

### الآية 51:9

> يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ [51:9]

يُؤۡفَكُ عَنۡهُ مَنۡ أُفِكَ


Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah).

### الآية 51:10

> قُتِلَ الْخَرَّاصُونَ [51:10]

قُتِلَ ٱلۡخَرَّـٰصُونَ


Cursed be the liars,

---

### الآية 51:11

> الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ [51:11]

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي غَمۡرَةٖ سَاهُونَ


Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter),

### الآية 51:12

> يَسْأَلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الدِّينِ [51:12]

يَسۡـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ


They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?"

### الآية 51:13

> يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ [51:13]

يَوۡمَ هُمۡ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفۡتَنُونَ


(It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire!

### الآية 51:14

> ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ [51:14]

ذُوقُواْ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ


"Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!"

### الآية 51:15

> إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ [51:15]

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ


Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs (in the Paradise),

### الآية 51:16

> آخِذِينَ مَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ [51:16]

ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَبۡلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحۡسِنِينَ


Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112).

### الآية 51:17

> كَانُوا قَلِيلًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ [51:17]

كَانُواْ قَلِيلٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ مَا يَهۡجَعُونَ


They used to sleep but little by night [invoking their Lord (Allah) and praying, with fear and hope].

### الآية 51:18

> وَبِالْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ [51:18]

وَبِٱلۡأَسۡحَارِ هُمۡ يَسۡتَغۡفِرُونَ


And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness,

### الآية 51:19

> وَفِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ [51:19]

وَفِيٓ أَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ حَقّٞ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلۡمَحۡرُومِ


And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others).

### الآية 51:20

> وَفِي الْأَرْضِ آيَاتٌ لِلْمُوقِنِينَ [51:20]

وَفِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّلۡمُوقِنِينَ


And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty,

---

### الآية 51:21

> وَفِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ [51:21]

وَفِيٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ


And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see?

### الآية 51:22

> وَفِي السَّمَاءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ [51:22]

وَفِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزۡقُكُمۡ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ


And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised.

### الآية 51:23

> فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ مِثْلَ مَا أَنَّكُمْ تَنْطِقُونَ [51:23]

فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقّٞ مِّثۡلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمۡ تَنطِقُونَ


Then, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is the truth (i.e. what has been promised to you), just as it is the truth that you can speak.

### الآية 51:24

> هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ [51:24]

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِينَ


Has the story reached you, of the honoured guests [three angels; Jibrael (Gabriel) along with another two] of Ibrahim (Abraham)?

### الآية 51:25

> إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلَامًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَامٌ قَوْمٌ مُنْكَرُونَ [51:25]

إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗاۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٞ قَوۡمٞ مُّنكَرُونَ


When they came in to him, and said, "Salam, (peace be upon you)!" He answered; "Salam, (peace be upon you)," and said: "You are a people unknown to me,"

### الآية 51:26

> فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ فَجَاءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ [51:26]

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجۡلٖ سَمِينٖ


Then he turned to his household, so brought out a roasted calf [as the property of Ibrahim (Abraham) was mainly cows].

### الآية 51:27

> فَقَرَّبَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ [51:27]

فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ


And placed it before them, (saying): "Will you not eat?"

### الآية 51:28

> فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَامٍ عَلِيمٍ [51:28]

فَأَوۡجَسَ مِنۡهُمۡ خِيفَةٗۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ


Then he conceived a fear of them (when they ate not). They said: "Fear not." And they gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son, having knowledge (about Allah and His religion of True Monotheism).

### الآية 51:29

> فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ فِي صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ [51:29]

فَأَقۡبَلَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ فِي صَرَّةٖ فَصَكَّتۡ وَجۡهَهَا وَقَالَتۡ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٞ


Then his wife came forward with a loud voice, she smote her face, and said: "A barren old woman!"

### الآية 51:30

> قَالُوا كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ [51:30]

قَالُواْ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ


They said: "Even so says your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower."

### الآية 51:31

> ۞ قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ [51:31]

۞قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ


[Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Then for what purpose you have come, O Messengers?"

### الآية 51:32

> قَالُوا إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُجْرِمِينَ [51:32]

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ


They said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah);

### الآية 51:33

> لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِنْ طِينٍ [51:33]

لِنُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن طِينٖ


To send down upon them stones of baked clay.

### الآية 51:34

> مُسَوَّمَةً عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ [51:34]

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ


Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins).

### الآية 51:35

> فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَنْ كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ [51:35]

فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ


So We brought out from therein the believers.

### الآية 51:36

> فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ [51:36]

فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِيهَا غَيۡرَ بَيۡتٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ


But We found not there any household of the Muslims except one [i.e. Lout (Lot) and his two daughters].

### الآية 51:37

> وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَا آيَةً لِلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ [51:37]

وَتَرَكۡنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِيمَ


And We have left there a sign (i.e. the place of the Dead Sea, well-known in Palestine) for those who fear the painful torment.

### الآية 51:38

> وَفِي مُوسَىٰ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ [51:38]

وَفِي مُوسَىٰٓ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ


And in Musa (Moses) (too, there is a sign). When We sent him to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with a manifest authority.

### الآية 51:39

> فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِ وَقَالَ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ [51:39]

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكۡنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٞ


But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] turned away (from Belief in might) along with his hosts, and said: "A sorcerer, or a madman."

### الآية 51:40

> فَأَخَذْنَاهُ وَجُنُودَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ [51:40]

فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٞ


So We took him and his hosts, and dumped them into the sea, while he was to be blamed.

### الآية 51:41

> وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ [51:41]

وَفِي عَادٍ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلۡعَقِيمَ


And in 'Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind;

### الآية 51:42

> مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ [51:42]

مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيۡءٍ أَتَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتۡهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ


It spared nothing that it reached, but blew it into broken spreads of rotten ruins.

### الآية 51:43

> وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ [51:43]

وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذۡ قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَمَتَّعُواْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ


And in Thamud (there is also a sign), when they were told: "Enjoy yourselves for a while!"

### الآية 51:44

> فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ [51:44]

فَعَتَوۡاْ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ


But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sa'iqah overtook them while they were looking.

### الآية 51:45

> فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِنْ قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنْتَصِرِينَ [51:45]

فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَٰعُواْ مِن قِيَامٖ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنتَصِرِينَ


Then they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves.

### الآية 51:46

> وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ [51:46]

وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ


(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

### الآية 51:47

> وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ [51:47]

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيۡنَٰهَا بِأَيۡيْدٖ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ


With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof.

### الآية 51:48

> وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ [51:48]

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَرَشۡنَٰهَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَٰهِدُونَ


And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We!

### الآية 51:49

> وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ [51:49]

وَمِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَا زَوۡجَيۡنِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ


And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah).

### الآية 51:50

> فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ [51:50]

فَفِرُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ


So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him.

### الآية 51:51

> وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ [51:51]

وَلَا تَجۡعَلُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنۡهُ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ


And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him.

### الآية 51:52

> كَذَٰلِكَ مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ [51:52]

كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُواْ سَاحِرٌ أَوۡ مَجۡنُونٌ


Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!"

### الآية 51:53

> أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ [51:53]

أَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِهِۦۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٞ طَاغُونَ


Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)!

### الآية 51:54

> فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَا أَنْتَ بِمَلُومٍ [51:54]

فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٖ


So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message).

---

### الآية 51:55

> وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَىٰ تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ [51:55]

وَذَكِّرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ


And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers.

### الآية 51:56

> وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ [51:56]

وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ


And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).

### الآية 51:57

> مَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ رِزْقٍ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ يُطْعِمُونِ [51:57]

مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنۡهُم مِّن رِّزۡقٖ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطۡعِمُونِ


I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures).

### الآية 51:58

> إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ [51:58]

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلۡقُوَّةِ ٱلۡمَتِينُ


Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.

### الآية 51:59

> فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذَنُوبًا مِثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ [51:59]

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذَنُوبٗا مِّثۡلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصۡحَٰبِهِمۡ فَلَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونِ


And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on!

### الآية 51:60

> فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ يَوْمِهِمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ [51:60]

فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن يَوۡمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ


Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment).
