Translation of Surah الطور from "Dr. Ghali - English translation" in الإنجليزية. ### الآية 52:1 > وَالطُّورِ [52:1] At-Tur ------- --- وَٱلطُّورِ And (by) At- Tur, (The Mount) --- ### الآية 52:2 > وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ [52:2] وَكِتَٰبٖ مَّسۡطُورٖ And (by) a Book inscribed. --- ### الآية 52:3 > فِي رَقٍّ مَنْشُورٍ [52:3] فِي رَقّٖ مَّنشُورٖ In a parchment spread, --- ### الآية 52:4 > وَالْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ [52:4] وَٱلۡبَيۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡمُورِ And (by) the Home always frequented, --- ### الآية 52:5 > وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوعِ [52:5] وَٱلسَّقۡفِ ٱلۡمَرۡفُوعِ And (by) the roof upraised, --- ### الآية 52:6 > وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ [52:6] وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ ٱلۡمَسۡجُورِ And (by) the sea seething, --- ### الآية 52:7 > إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌ [52:7] إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٞ Surely your Lord's torment is indeed befalling; --- ### الآية 52:8 > مَا لَهُ مِنْ دَافِعٍ [52:8] مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٖ In no way (can) there be any repelling. --- ### الآية 52:9 > يَوْمَ تَمُورُ السَّمَاءُ مَوْرًا [52:9] يَوۡمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوۡرٗا The Day when the heaven whirls with (awful) whirling. --- ### الآية 52:10 > وَتَسِيرُ الْجِبَالُ سَيْرًا [52:10] وَتَسِيرُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ سَيۡرٗا And the mountains travel with (awful) traveling. --- ### الآية 52:11 > فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ [52:11] فَوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ Then woe upon that day to the beliers. --- ### الآية 52:12 > الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ [52:12] ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي خَوۡضٖ يَلۡعَبُونَ They are the ones who play at their wading, (i.e., become absorbed) --- ### الآية 52:13 > يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا [52:13] يَوۡمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا The Day when they are repulsed to the fire of Hell with (contemptuous) repulsing. --- ### الآية 52:14 > هَٰذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ [52:14] هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ "This is the Fire that you used to cry lies to! --- ### الآية 52:15 > أَفَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَا أَمْ أَنْتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ [52:15] أَفَسِحۡرٌ هَٰذَآ أَمۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ So, is this magic, or is it you (who) do not behold? --- ### الآية 52:16 > اصْلَوْهَا فَاصْبِرُوا أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ [52:16] ٱصۡلَوۡهَا فَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْ أَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ إِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ Roast in it! So (endure) patiently (in it) or do not (endure) patiently, equal it is to you! Surely you are only being recompensed for whatever you were doing." --- ### الآية 52:17 > إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَعِيمٍ [52:17] إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَنَعِيمٖ Surely the pious will be in Gardens and Bliss, --- ### الآية 52:18 > فَاكِهِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ [52:18] فَٰكِهِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ Jesting with what their Lord has brought them, and their Lord will protect them from the torment of Hell-Fire__ --- ### الآية 52:19 > كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ [52:19] كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ "Eat and drink, (rejoicing) with wholesome appetite for whatever you were doing."__ --- ### الآية 52:20 > مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَصْفُوفَةٍ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُمْ بِحُورٍ عِينٍ [52:20] مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّصۡفُوفَةٖۖ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ Reclining upon ranged settees. And We will marry them to wide-eyed huras. --- ### الآية 52:21 > وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُمْ مِنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ [52:21] وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّبَعَتۡهُمۡ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَٰنٍ أَلۡحَقۡنَا بِهِمۡ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ وَمَآ أَلَتۡنَٰهُم مِّنۡ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖۚ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيِٕۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٞ And the ones who believed, and their offspring closely followed them in belief, We will join their offspring with them, and in no way will We withhold from them anything of their deed (s); every person will be a constant pledge for whatever he has earned, --- ### الآية 52:22 > وَأَمْدَدْنَاهُمْ بِفَاكِهَةٍ وَلَحْمٍ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ [52:22] وَأَمۡدَدۡنَٰهُم بِفَٰكِهَةٖ وَلَحۡمٖ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ And We will supply them with fruits and flesh such as they crave for. --- ### الآية 52:23 > يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ [52:23] يَتَنَٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأۡسٗا لَّا لَغۡوٞ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأۡثِيمٞ Therein they will (obligingly) contend with one another cups, and there is no idle talk, and no room for vice. --- ### الآية 52:24 > ۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌ لَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَكْنُونٌ [52:24] ۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غِلۡمَانٞ لَّهُمۡ كَأَنَّهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤٞ مَّكۡنُونٞ And (there) go round them youths of their own, as if they were nestled pearl (s); --- ### الآية 52:25 > وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءَلُونَ [52:25] وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ And some of them come forward to others, asking one another (Literally: some (others) (questions). --- ### الآية 52:26 > قَالُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِي أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ [52:26] قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ They say, "Surely we were before among our families, (feeling) timorous; --- ### الآية 52:27 > فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ [52:27] فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَوَقَىٰنَا عَذَابَ ٱلسَّمُومِ Then Allah was bounteous to us, and protected us from the torment of the Pestilential Wind. --- ### الآية 52:28 > إِنَّا كُنَّا مِنْ قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْبَرُّ الرَّحِيمُ [52:28] إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبۡلُ نَدۡعُوهُۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ Surely we used earlier to invoke Him; surely He, Ever He, is The Ever-Benign, The Ever-Merciful." --- ### الآية 52:29 > فَذَكِّرْ فَمَا أَنْتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ [52:29] فَذَكِّرۡ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٖ وَلَا مَجۡنُونٍ Then remind! So in no way are you (The Prophet) by your Lord's favor a soothsayer or a madman. --- ### الآية 52:30 > أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِهِ رَيْبَ الْمَنُونِ [52:30] أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٞ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيۡبَ ٱلۡمَنُونِ Or even do they say, "He is a poet for whom we await the uncertainty (i.e., the calamity of death; literally: the suspicion of fortune or fate) of fortune?" --- ### الآية 52:31 > قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا فَإِنِّي مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ [52:31] قُلۡ تَرَبَّصُواْ فَإِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُتَرَبِّصِينَ Say, "Await! So surely I will be with you among the awaiting ones." --- ### الآية 52:32 > أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَامُهُمْ بِهَٰذَا ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ [52:32] أَمۡ تَأۡمُرُهُمۡ أَحۡلَٰمُهُم بِهَٰذَآۚ أَمۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٞ طَاغُونَ Or even do their immature understandings command them to do this? --- ### الآية 52:33 > أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُ ۚ بَلْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ [52:33] أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُۥۚ بَل لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ Or even are they an inordinate people?. Or even do they say, "He talked it foolishly?" No indeed, (but) they do not believe. --- ### الآية 52:34 > فَلْيَأْتُوا بِحَدِيثٍ مِثْلِهِ إِنْ كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ [52:34] فَلۡيَأۡتُواْ بِحَدِيثٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُواْ صَٰدِقِينَ Then let them come up with a discourse like this, in case they are sincere. --- ### الآية 52:35 > أَمْ خُلِقُوا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَيْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ الْخَالِقُونَ [52:35] أَمۡ خُلِقُواْ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ شَيۡءٍ أَمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقُونَ Or even were they created out of nothing? Or even are they the creators? --- ### الآية 52:36 > أَمْ خَلَقُوا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۚ بَلْ لَا يُوقِنُونَ [52:36] أَمۡ خَلَقُواْ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَۚ بَل لَّا يُوقِنُونَ Or even did they create the heavens and the earth? No indeed, (but) they have no certitude. --- ### الآية 52:37 > أَمْ عِنْدَهُمْ خَزَائِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ الْمُصَيْطِرُونَ [52:37] أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡمُصَۜيۡطِرُونَ Or even do they have in their presence the treasuries of your Lord? Or even are they the dominators? --- ### الآية 52:38 > أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُمْ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ [52:38] أَمۡ لَهُمۡ سُلَّمٞ يَسۡتَمِعُونَ فِيهِۖ فَلۡيَأۡتِ مُسۡتَمِعُهُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٍ Or even do they have a ladder wherein they listen? Then let their listener come up with an evident, all- binding authority. --- ### الآية 52:39 > أَمْ لَهُ الْبَنَاتُ وَلَكُمُ الْبَنُونَ [52:39] أَمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡبَنَٰتُ وَلَكُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ Or even has He the daughters, and you have the sons? --- ### الآية 52:40 > أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُمْ مِنْ مَغْرَمٍ مُثْقَلُونَ [52:40] أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمٖ مُّثۡقَلُونَ Or even do you ask them for a reward, (and) so they are weighed down with heavy fines? --- ### الآية 52:41 > أَمْ عِنْدَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ [52:41] أَمۡ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبُ فَهُمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ Or even do they have in their presence the Unseen, (and) so they are writing (it) down? --- ### الآية 52:42 > أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا ۖ فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا هُمُ الْمَكِيدُونَ [52:42] أَمۡ يُرِيدُونَ كَيۡدٗاۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡمَكِيدُونَ Or even would they like plotting? Then the ones who have disbelieved are they who are (circumvented) in their plotting. --- ### الآية 52:43 > أَمْ لَهُمْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ [52:43] أَمۡ لَهُمۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ Or even do they have a god, other than Allah? All Extolment be to Allah above whatever they associate (with Him)! --- ### الآية 52:44 > وَإِنْ يَرَوْا كِسْفًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ سَاقِطًا يَقُولُوا سَحَابٌ مَرْكُومٌ [52:44] وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كِسۡفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطٗا يَقُولُواْ سَحَابٞ مَّرۡكُومٞ And in case they saw a dark lump falling down from the heaven, they would say, "Accumulated clouds!" --- ### الآية 52:45 > فَذَرْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي فِيهِ يُصْعَقُونَ [52:45] فَذَرۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ يُصۡعَقُونَ So, leave them out, till they meet their Day wherein they will be stunned. (i.e., thunderstruck) --- ### الآية 52:46 > يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ [52:46] يَوۡمَ لَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُمۡ كَيۡدُهُمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ The Day when their plotting will not avail them anything, nor will they be vindicated. --- ### الآية 52:47 > وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا عَذَابًا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ [52:47] وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ عَذَابٗا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ And surely, for the ones who did injustice, there is a torment besides that, but most of them do not know. --- ### الآية 52:48 > وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ [52:48] وَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَاۖ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ And (endure) patiently under the Judgment of your Lord, (for) then surely you are under Our Eyes, and extol with the praise (s) of your Lord when you rise up. --- ### الآية 52:49 > وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَارَ النُّجُومِ [52:49] وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَإِدۡبَٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ And for (part) of the night, then (also) extol Him, and at the with drawing of the stars. --- ## روابط ذات صلة - [النص القرآني للسورة](https://quranpedia.net/surah/1/52.md) - [كل تفاسير سورة الطور ](https://quranpedia.net/surah-tafsir/52.md) - [ترجمات سورة الطور ](https://quranpedia.net/translations/52.md) - [صفحة الكتاب: Dr. Ghali - English translation](https://quranpedia.net/book/13602.md) --- زُر [Quranpedia.net](https://quranpedia.net/surah/1/52/book/13602) — موسوعة القرآن الكريم: التفاسير، الترجمات، التلاوات، والمواضيع.
