Translation of Surah القمر from "الترجمة الإنجليزية - مركز رواد الترجمة" in الإنجليزية. ### الآية 54:1 > اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ [54:1] The Hour has drawn near and the moon has split asunder. ### الآية 54:2 > وَإِنْ يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُسْتَمِرٌّ [54:2] Whenever they see a sign, they turn away and say, “Same old magic!” ### الآية 54:3 > وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُسْتَقِرٌّ [54:3] They deny \[the truth\] and follow their desires, but every matter will reach its inevitable end. ### الآية 54:4 > وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْبَاءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ [54:4] There have already come to them stories \[of destroyed nations\] that are sufficient to deter them, ### الآية 54:5 > حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ ۖ فَمَا تُغْنِ النُّذُرُ [54:5] which contain extensive wisdom, but the warnings are of no avail. ### الآية 54:6 > فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ ۘ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيْءٍ نُكُرٍ [54:6] So turn away from them \[O Prophet\]. On the Day when the caller will summon them to a horrific event, ### الآية 54:7 > خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُنْتَشِرٌ [54:7] with eyes downcast, they will come out of the graves like scattered locusts, ### الآية 54:8 > مُهْطِعِينَ إِلَى الدَّاعِ ۖ يَقُولُ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ [54:8] rushing headlong towards the caller. The disbelievers will say, “This is a hard Day!” ### الآية 54:9 > ۞ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ [54:9] The people of Noah rejected \[the truth\] before them; they rejected Our slave and said, “He is a madman,” and he was rebuked. ### الآية 54:10 > فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ [54:10] So he called upon his Lord, “I am overpowered, so help me!” ### الآية 54:11 > فَفَتَحْنَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَاءٍ مُنْهَمِرٍ [54:11] So We opened the gates of the sky with water pouring down in torrents, ### الآية 54:12 > وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاءُ عَلَىٰ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ [54:12] and We caused the earth to burst forth with springs, then the waters met for a preordained purpose. ### الآية 54:13 > وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍ [54:13] We carried him on an \[Ark made\] of planks and nails, ### الآية 54:14 > تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَاءً لِمَنْ كَانَ كُفِرَ [54:14] sailing under Our \[watchful\] Eyes; as a reward for the one \[they\] denied. ### الآية 54:15 > وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَاهَا آيَةً فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ [54:15] We have certainly left it as a sign; is there anyone to take heed? ### الآية 54:16 > فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ [54:16] Then how were My punishment and My warnings? ### الآية 54:17 > وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ [54:17] We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed? ### الآية 54:18 > كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ [54:18] ‘Ād disbelieved. Then how were My punishment and My warnings? ### الآية 54:19 > إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُسْتَمِرٍّ [54:19] We sent against them a furious wind on a day of continuous misfortune, ### الآية 54:20 > تَنْزِعُ النَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُنْقَعِرٍ [54:20] sweeping people away, as if they were trunks of uprooted palm trees. ### الآية 54:21 > فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ [54:21] Then how were My punishment and My warnings? ### الآية 54:22 > وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ [54:22] We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed? ### الآية 54:23 > كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِالنُّذُرِ [54:23] Thamūd rejected the warnings, ### الآية 54:24 > فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرًا مِنَّا وَاحِدًا نَتَّبِعُهُ إِنَّا إِذًا لَفِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ [54:24] They said, “Shall we follow a single human being from among us? Then we would surely be in error and insanity! ### الآية 54:25 > أَأُلْقِيَ الذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ [54:25] Has the revelation been sent down upon him out of all of us? Rather, he is an insolent liar.” ### الآية 54:26 > سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدًا مَنِ الْكَذَّابُ الْأَشِرُ [54:26] Tomorrow they will know who the insolent liar is. ### الآية 54:27 > إِنَّا مُرْسِلُو النَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَاصْطَبِرْ [54:27] We are sending the she-camel as a test for them, so watch them \[O Sālih\] and be patient, ### الآية 54:28 > وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ الْمَاءَ قِسْمَةٌ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُحْتَضَرٌ [54:28] and tell them that the water is to be shared between them; each should take its drink in turn. ### الآية 54:29 > فَنَادَوْا صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ [54:29] But they called their companion, and he undertook the task and hamstrung her. ### الآية 54:30 > فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ [54:30] Then how were My punishment and My warnings! ### الآية 54:31 > إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَكَانُوا كَهَشِيمِ الْمُحْتَظِرِ [54:31] We sent against them a single blast, leaving them like trampled hedge-building twigs. ### الآية 54:32 > وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ [54:32] We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed? ### الآية 54:33 > كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ بِالنُّذُرِ [54:33] The people of Lot rejected the warnings. ### الآية 54:34 > إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّا آلَ لُوطٍ ۖ نَجَّيْنَاهُمْ بِسَحَرٍ [54:34] We sent against them a storm of pebbles, except the family of Lot whom We saved before dawn, ### الآية 54:35 > نِعْمَةً مِنْ عِنْدِنَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ شَكَرَ [54:35] as a blessing from Us. Thus do We reward those who give thanks. ### الآية 54:36 > وَلَقَدْ أَنْذَرَهُمْ بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا بِالنُّذُرِ [54:36] He had already warned them of Our punishing assault, but they doubted the warnings. ### الآية 54:37 > وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوهُ عَنْ ضَيْفِهِ فَطَمَسْنَا أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ [54:37] They even demanded that he let them have their way with his angel-guests, so We blinded their eyes, \[saying\], “Taste My punishment and My warnings!” ### الآية 54:38 > وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُمْ بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُسْتَقِرٌّ [54:38] By the early morning a lasting torment overtook them. ### الآية 54:39 > فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ [54:39] Taste My punishment and My warnings! ### الآية 54:40 > وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ [54:40] We have certainly made the Qur’an easy to understand and remember; is there anyone to take heed? ### الآية 54:41 > وَلَقَدْ جَاءَ آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ النُّذُرُ [54:41] Indeed, warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. ### الآية 54:42 > كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ مُقْتَدِرٍ [54:42] But they rejected all of Our signs, so We seized them with the grip of the All-Mighty, Most Powerful. ### الآية 54:43 > أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أُولَٰئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُمْ بَرَاءَةٌ فِي الزُّبُرِ [54:43] Are your disbelievers \[O Makkans\] superior than those, or have you been granted immunity in divine Scriptures? ### الآية 54:44 > أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعٌ مُنْتَصِرٌ [54:44] Or do they say, “We are a united front, bound to prevail.”? ### الآية 54:45 > سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ الدُّبُرَ [54:45] Soon their united front will be defeated, and they will flee. ### الآية 54:46 > بَلِ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ [54:46] But the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour is more catastrophic and more bitter. ### الآية 54:47 > إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍ [54:47] Indeed, the wicked are in error and will be in blazes. ### الآية 54:48 > يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي النَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ [54:48] On the Day when they will be dragged into the Fire on their faces, \[they will be told\], “Taste the agony of Hell!” ### الآية 54:49 > إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ [54:49] Indeed, We have created everything according to a determined measure. ### الآية 54:50 > وَمَا أَمْرُنَا إِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِ [54:50] Our command is but a single word, which is fulfilled in the blink of an eye. ### الآية 54:51 > وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ [54:51] We have destroyed many like you \[O Makkans\]; is there anyone to take heed? ### الآية 54:52 > وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِي الزُّبُرِ [54:52] Everything they did is in the written records, ### الآية 54:53 > وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ مُسْتَطَرٌ [54:53] and everything, small or big, is written down. ### الآية 54:54 > إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَهَرٍ [54:54] Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and rivers, ### الآية 54:55 > فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ مَلِيكٍ مُقْتَدِرٍ [54:55] seated in honor in the presence of the Most Powerful Sovereign. ## روابط ذات صلة - [النص القرآني للسورة](https://quranpedia.net/surah/1/54.md) - [كل تفاسير سورة القمر ](https://quranpedia.net/surah-tafsir/54.md) - [ترجمات سورة القمر ](https://quranpedia.net/translations/54.md) - [صفحة الكتاب: الترجمة الإنجليزية - مركز رواد الترجمة](https://quranpedia.net/book/27811.md) --- زُر [Quranpedia.net](https://quranpedia.net/surah/1/54/book/27811) — موسوعة القرآن الكريم: التفاسير، الترجمات، التلاوات، والمواضيع.
