### الآية 82:1

> إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ [82:1]

Al-Infitar 
-----------

---

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡ


When the heaven is cleft asunder.

---

### الآية 82:2

> وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْ [82:2]

وَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡ


And when the stars have fallen and scattered;

---

### الآية 82:3

> وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ [82:3]

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ


And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up);

---

### الآية 82:4

> وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ [82:4]

وَإِذَا ٱلۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ


And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents)

---

### الآية 82:5

> عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ [82:5]

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ


(Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds).

### الآية 82:6

> يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ [82:6]

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ


O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous?

### الآية 82:7

> الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ [82:7]

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ


Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion;

### الآية 82:8

> فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ [82:8]

فِيٓ أَيِّ صُورَةٖ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ


In whatever form He willed, He put you together.

### الآية 82:9

> كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ [82:9]

كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ


Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds).

### الآية 82:10

> وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ [82:10]

وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَ


But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you.

---

### الآية 82:11

> كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ [82:11]

كِرَامٗا كَٰتِبِينَ


Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds).

---

### الآية 82:12

> يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ [82:12]

يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ


They know all that you do.

---

### الآية 82:13

> إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ [82:13]

إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٖ


Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise);

### الآية 82:14

> وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ [82:14]

وَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٖ


And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell),

### الآية 82:15

> يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ [82:15]

يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ


In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense,

---

### الآية 82:16

> وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ [82:16]

وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ


And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell).

### الآية 82:17

> وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ [82:17]

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ


And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is?

### الآية 82:18

> ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ [82:18]

ثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ


Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is?

### الآية 82:19

> يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ [82:19]

يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسٞ لِّنَفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلَّهِ


(It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah.
