### الآية 99:1

> إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا [99:1]

(1) When the earth is shaken with its \[final\] earthquake

### الآية 99:2

> وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا [99:2]

(2) And the earth discharges its burdens\[1962\] 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1962\]- See verse 84:4

### الآية 99:3

> وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا [99:3]

(3) And man says,\[1963\] "What is \[wrong\] with it?" -
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1963\]- In terror and amazement.

### الآية 99:4

> يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا [99:4]

(4) That Day, it will report its news

### الآية 99:5

> بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا [99:5]

(5) Because your Lord has inspired \[i.e., commanded\] it.

### الآية 99:6

> يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ [99:6]

(6) That Day, the people will depart\[1964\] separated \[into categories\] to be shown \[the result of\] their deeds. 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1964\]- From the place of Judgement to their final abode. Another interpretation is "emerge separately" (from the graves).

### الآية 99:7

> فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ [99:7]

(7) So whoever does an atom's weight\[1965\] of good will see it, 
\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_
\[1965\]- Or "the weight of a small ant."

### الآية 99:8

> وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ [99:8]

(8) And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
