(18) Already Allāh knows the hinderers[1187] among you and those [hypocrites] who say to their brothers, "Come to us,"[1188] and do not go to battle, except for a few,[1189]— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال
[1187]- Those who dissuade others from supporting the Prophet (ﷺ) in battle.
[1188]- Rather than joining the Prophet (ﷺ).
[1189]- Who went out of ulterior motives.
18. Allâh already knows those among you who keep back (men) from fighting in Allâh’s Cause, and those who say to their brethren "Come here towards us," while they (themselves) come not to the battle except a little,— الترجمة الإنجليزية

18. Allah knows those of you who hold others back from fighting alongside Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) and those who say to their brothers: “Come to us and do not fight alongside him, lest you get killed, because we fear you will get killed”.
