(30) And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’ān as [a thing] abandoned."[1022]
[1022]- i.e., avoiding it, not listening to or understanding it, not living by it, or preferring something else to it.

 30. And the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Qur’ân (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and teachings).

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا

And the Messenger has said, "O Lord! Surely my people have taken to themselves this Qur'an as a thing to be forsaken."

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا

And the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Quran (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and orders).

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا

And the messenger saith: O my Lord! Lo! mine own folk make this Qur'an of no account.

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا

Then the Messenger will say: "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense."

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا

And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned."

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي ٱتَّخَذُواْ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ مَهۡجُورٗا

(25:30) And the Messenger will say: "My Lord! My own people had made this
Qur'an an object of laughter."1

The Messenger has said, ‘Lord, my people treat this Quran as something to be shunned,’

And the messenger will say, “O my Lord, my people had taken this Qur’ān as deserted.”

The Messenger has cried, “O my Lord! My people have indeed received this Quran with neglect.”

30. The Messenger will say on that day complaining about the condition of his people: O my Lord! My people, to whom You sent me, left this Qur’ān and ignored it.
