(36) And We said, "Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs." Then We destroyed them with [complete] destruction.

 36. And We said: "Go you both to the people who have denied Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)." Then We destroyed them with utter destruction.

فَقُلۡنَا ٱذۡهَبَآ إِلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهُمۡ تَدۡمِيرٗا

So We said, "Go you (both) to the people who have cried lies to Our signs." Then We destroyed them an utter destruction.

36. So I said to them: Go, both of you, to Pharaoh and his people who denied My signs. So they fulfilled our instruction and went to them and invited them to Allah’s Oneness, but they denied them and I then destroyed them completely on account of their denial.
