80. And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand?— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationوَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ ٱخۡتِلَٰفُ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَAnd He is The One Who gives life and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and daytime; will you then not consider?.
— Muhsin Khan - English translationوَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ ٱخۡتِلَٰفُ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَAnd it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand?

80. And it is He alone Who gives life; there is nobody who gives life besides Him. And it is He alone Who gives death; there is nobody who gives death besides Him. To Him alone belongs fixing the difference of night and day, in terms of darkness and light, and length and shortness.
