(139) And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال
139. So they belied him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationفَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَSo they cried him lies, then We caused them to perish. Surely in that is indeed a sign; and in no way were most of them believers,

— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationفَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ(26:139) Eventually they gave the lie to him and We destroyed them.4
Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe.

139. They continued rejecting their prophet Hud (peace be upon him), so I destroyed them due to their rejection by a barren wind.
