(75) Indeed, Abraham was forbearing, grieving[567] and [frequently] returning [to Allāh].— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال
[567]- i.e., sighing or moaning during supplication out of grief for people and fear of Allāh.
75. Verily, Ibrahîm (Abraham) was, without doubt, forbearing, used to invoking Allâh with humility, and was repentant (to Allâh all the time, again and again).— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationإِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَحَلِيمٌ أَوَّـٰهٞ مُّنِيبٞSurely Ibrahim is indeed constantly forbearing, most plaintive, constantly penitent.
— Muhsin Khan - English translationإِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَحَلِيمٌ أَوَّـٰهٞ مُّنِيبٞVerily, Ibrahim (Abraham) was, without doubt, forbearing, used to invoke Allah with humility, and was repentant (to Allah all the time, again and again).
