27. Then how (will it be) when the angels will take their souls at death, smiting their faces and their backs?— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationفَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡSo how will it be when the Angels take them up, striking their faces and their hind parts?
— Muhsin Khan - English translationفَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡThen how (will it be) when the angels will take their souls at death, smiting their faces and their backs?
— Pickthall - English translationفَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡThen how (will it be with them) when the angels gather them, smiting their faces and their backs!
— Yusuf Ali - English translationفَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡBut how (will it be) when the angels take their souls at death, and smite their faces and their backs?
— Sahih International - English translationفَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡThen how [will it be] when the angels take them in death, striking their faces and their backs?
— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationفَكَيۡفَ إِذَا تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ يَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ(47:27) But how will they fare when angels will take their souls at death
and will carry them, striking their faces and backs?7
