(17) [By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful?— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال
17. Like this We requited them because they were ungrateful disbelievers. And never do We requite in such a way except those who are ungrateful (disbelievers).— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَThat (was) what We recompensed them for that they disbelieved; and do We recompense (thus) except the ever-disbelieving (one)?
— Muhsin Khan - English translationذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَLike this We requited them because they were ungrateful disbelievers. And never do We requit in such a way except those who are ungrateful, (disbelievers).
— Pickthall - English translationذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَThis We awarded them because of their ingratitude. Punish We ever any save the ingrates?
— Yusuf Ali - English translationذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَThat was the Requital We gave them because they ungratefully rejected Faith: and never do We give (such) requital except to such as are ungrateful rejecters.
— Sahih International - English translationذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَ[By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful?
— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَ(34:17) Thus did We retribute them for their ingratitude. And none do We
retribute in this manner except the utterly ungrateful.
— Abdul Haleem - English translationذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَIn this way We punished them for their ingratitude- would We punish anyone but the ungrateful?
— Mufti Taqi Usmani - English translationذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَThus We punished them because of their ungratefulness. We do not give (such a) punishment but to the ungrateful.
