44. They said: "Mixed up false dreams and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationقَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَThey said, "Jumbled dreams. And in no way are we knowledgeable about the interpretation of dreams."
— Muhsin Khan - English translationقَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَThey said: "Mixed up false dreams and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."
— Pickthall - English translationقَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَThey answered: Jumbled dreams! And we are not knowing in the interpretation of dreams.
— Yusuf Ali - English translationقَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَThey said: "A confused medley of dreams: and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."
— Sahih International - English translationقَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَThey said, "[It is but] a mixture of false dreams, and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams."
— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationقَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَ(12:44) They said: "These are confused dreams, and we do not know the interpretation
of such dreams."
— Abdul Haleem - English translationقَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَThey said, ‘These are confusing dreams and we are not skilled at dream-interpretation,’
— Mufti Taqi Usmani - English translationقَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَThey said, “(It seems to be) a mishmash of dreams, and we do not know the interpretation of dreams.”
