إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
Except for the most faithful bondmen of Allah.
وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
And We have left for him (honor) in the later generations,
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلۡ يَاسِينَ
Peace be upon Ilyasin!" (Elias)
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Surely thus We recompense the fair-doers.
إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Surely he is one of Our believing bondmen.
وَإِنَّ لُوطٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
And surely Lut (Lot) is indeed one of the Emissaries,
إِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ
As We safely delivered him and his family all together,
إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ
Except an old woman among the laggards;
ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
Thereafter We destroyed the others,
وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِينَ
And surely you pass by them in the (early) morning.
