(105) And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment

 105. And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. It is they for whom there is an awful torment.

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَٱخۡتَلَفُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتُۚ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ

And do not be as the ones who were disunited and differed (among themselves), even after the supreme evidences came to them. And those will have a tremendous torment.

Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty,-

faces have turned dark will be told: 'Did you fall into unbelief after you had
been blessed with belief? Taste, then, chastise- ment for your unbelief.'

105. Do not be, O believers, like the People of the Scripture who became divided into different groups and divisions, disagreeing about their faith and way of life after clear signs had come to them from Allah. Such people will have a great punishment from Allah.
