(53) And [recall] when We gave Moses the Scripture and criterion[27] that perhaps you would be guided.— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال
[27]- Differentiating between truth and falsehood. "The Scripture and criterion" refers to the Torah.
53. And (remember) when We gave Mûsâ (Moses) the Scripture [the Taurât (Torah)] and the criterion (of right and wrong) so that you may be guided aright."— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationوَإِذۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَهۡتَدُونَAnd (remember) as We brought Musa (Moses) the Book and the all-distinctive Furqan, (Literally: the Criterion for right and wrong) that possibly you would be guided.

53. Also, remember that Allah’s giving Moses (peace be upon him) the Torah as a criterion between truth and falsehood, discriminating between guidance and misguidance, so that you might be guided to the truth through it, were from the blessings of Allah.— الترجمة الإنجليزية للمختصر في تفسير القرآن الكريم
