4. Verily those who call you from behind the dwellings, most of them have no sense.— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَآءِ ٱلۡحُجُرَٰتِ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَSurely (the ones) who call out to you from beyond the apartments, most of them do not consider.
— Muhsin Khan - English translationإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَآءِ ٱلۡحُجُرَٰتِ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَVerily! Those who call you from behind the dwellings, most of them have no sense.

the apartments, are devoid of understanding.

4. O Messenger! Indeed, those bedouins who call out to you from behind the dwellings of your wives, the majority of them do not understand, so do not worry about them, because if they were understanding, they would surely show good manners to you and would definitely wait until you came out to them. Then, when you came out to them, they would speak to you about their matters by lowering their voices.
