9. And when he learns something of Our Verses (this Qur’ân), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment.— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationوَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞAnd when he knows anything of Our signs, he takes them to himself in mockery; those will have a degrading torment.
— Muhsin Khan - English translationوَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞAnd when he learns something of Our Verses (this Quran), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment.
— Pickthall - English translationوَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞAnd when he knoweth aught of Our revelations he maketh it a jest. For such there is a shameful doom.

— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationوَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ(45:9) Whenever he comes to know anything of Our Signs, he makes them an
object of jest.0 For such there awaits a humiliating chastisement.
— Abdul Haleem - English translationوَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞwho, if he knows anything about Our revelations, ridicules it! Such people will have a humiliating torment:
