(30) Except from their wives or those their right hands possess,[1754] for indeed, they are not to be blamed -— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال
[1754]- i.e., female slaves.
30. Except from their wives or the (women slaves) whom their right hands possess - for (then) they are not blameworthy.— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationإِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَExcept with their spouses or what their right hands possess; then surely they are not blameworthy (Literally: other than being blameworthy).
— Muhsin Khan - English translationإِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَExcept with their wives and the (women slaves and captives) whom their right hands possess, for (then) they are not to be blamed,
— Pickthall - English translationإِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَSave with their wives and those whom their right hands possess, for thus they are not blameworthy;
— Yusuf Ali - English translationإِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَExcept with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed,
— Sahih International - English translationإِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَExcept from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they are not to be blamed -
— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationإِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ(70:30) except in regard to their spouses and those whom their right hands
possess, for in regard to them they are not reproachable,0
— Abdul Haleem - English translationإِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَfrom all but their spouses or their slave-girls––there is no blame attached to [relations with] these,
