(69) And certainly did Our messengers [i.e., angels] come to Abraham with good tidings; they said, "Peace." He said, "Peace," and did not delay in bringing [them] a roasted calf.— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال
69. And verily, there came Our messengers to Ibrâhîm (Abraham) with glad tidings. They said: Salâm (greetings or peace!) He answered, Salâm (greetings or peace!) and he hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf.— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationوَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ قَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗاۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٞۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجۡلٍ حَنِيذٖAnd indeed Our Messengers readily came to Ibrahim (Abraham) with the good tidings. They said, "Peace!" He said, "Peace!" Then in no way did he linger (i.e., He did not delay) to come with a fleshy well-roasted calf.
— Muhsin Khan - English translationوَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ قَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗاۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٞۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجۡلٍ حَنِيذٖAnd verily, there came Our Messengers to Ibrahim (Abraham) with glad tidings. greeted him with 'peace', and Abraham answered back to them 'peace', and hurriedly
brought to them a roasted calf.5

69. Then the angels came to Abraham (peace and blessing be upon him) in the form of men, giving good news to him and his wife of Isaac and Jacob.
