(38) And the ones who strive against Our verses to cause [them] failure[1236] - those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال

38. And those who strive against Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), to frustrate them, they will be brought to the torment.— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَAnd (the ones) who endeavor against Our signs trying to defy them, those will be presented forward into the torment.
— Muhsin Khan - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَAnd those who strive against Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), to frustrate them, will be brought to the torment.
— Pickthall - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَAnd as for those who strive against Our revelations, challenging, they will be brought to the doom.
— Yusuf Ali - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَThose who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them, will be given over into Punishment.
— Sahih International - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَAnd the ones who strive against Our verses to cause [them] failure - those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].
— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَ(34:38) As for those who work against Our Signs so as to frustrate them,
they shall be arraigned into the chastisement.
— Abdul Haleem - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَwhereas those who work against Our messages, seeking to undermine them, will be summoned to punishment.’
— Mufti Taqi Usmani - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَAs for those who strive against our signs trying to frustrate (them), they will be arraigned into the torment.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَAs for those who strive to discredit Our revelations, it is they who will be confined in punishment.
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab - English translationوَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَAs for those who strive to discredit Our revelations, it is they who will be confined in punishment.

38. And the disbelievers who make it their utmost effort to turn people away from our verses and strive hard to achieve these goals of theirs are losers in this world and will be punished in the Hereafter.— الترجمة الإنجليزية للمختصر في تفسير القرآن الكريم
