(56) They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire— الترجمة الإنجليزية - صحيح انترناشونال
56. They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire,— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِThey will not taste therein of death, except the first death, and He will protect them from the torment of Hell-Fire,
— Muhsin Khan - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِThey will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire,
— Pickthall - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِThey taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell,
— Yusuf Ali - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِNor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,-
— Sahih International - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِThey will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire
— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ(44:56) They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah
will save them from the chastisement of Hell4
— Abdul Haleem - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِAfter the one death they will taste death no more. God will guard them from the torment of Hell,
— Mufti Taqi Usmani - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِThey will not taste death therein beyond the first death (they faced in the world). And He (Allah) will save them from the torment of Hell,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran - English translationلَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِThere they will never taste death, beyond the first death. And He will protect them from the punishment of the Hellfire—
