3. ‘And He, exalted be the Majesty of our Lord, has taken neither a wife nor a son (or offspring or children).[2]— الترجمة الإنجليزية

— Dr. Ghali - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗاAnd (we believe) that He-Supremely Exalted be our Lord's Dignity- in no way has He taken to Him either a female companion or a child.
— Muhsin Khan - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗا'And exalted be the Majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife, nor a son (or offspring or children).
— Pickthall - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗاAnd (we believe) that He - exalted be the glory of our Lord! - hath taken neither wife nor son,
— Yusuf Ali - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗا'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son.
— Sahih International - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗاAnd [it teaches] that exalted is the nobleness of our Lord; He has not taken a wife or a son
— Abul Ala Maududi(With tafsir) - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗا(72:3) and that “He – exalted be His Majesty – has not taken to Himself either
a wife or a son”;4
— Abdul Haleem - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗاand that He––exalted be the glory of our Lord!––has neither spouse nor child.
— Mufti Taqi Usmani - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗاand (then the Jinns started talking to each other) that exalted is the Glory of our Lord; He has taken neither a wife, nor a son,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗا˹Now, we believe that˺ our Lord—Exalted is His Majesty—has neither taken a mate nor offspring,
— Dr. Mustafa Khattab - English translationوَأَنَّهُۥ تَعَٰلَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا ٱتَّخَذَ صَٰحِبَةٗ وَلَا وَلَدٗا˹Now, we believe that˺ our Lord—Exalted is His Majesty—has neither taken a mate nor offspring,
