36. Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "Verily, my Lord enlarges the provision to whom He wills and restricts, but most men know not."— الترجمة الإنجليزية
— Dr. Ghali - English translationقُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَSay, "Surely my Lord outspreads the provision for whomever He decides and estimates (it); but most of mankind do not know it."

36. O Messenger, say to these who have been deceived by the favours they have been given: “My Lord expands provision for whom He wants, to test whether he is grateful or ungrateful, and He makes it tight for whom He wants, to test whether he is patient or becomes upset. But most people do not know that Allah is Wise. It is neither your riches nor your children that can bring you nearer to Us: only he who believes and does what is right [comes near to Us].
