Verse 1

ﭓ
He frowned and turned away,
Verse 2
ﭔﭕﭖ
ﭗ
when the blind man came to him.
Verse 3
ﭘﭙﭚﭛ
ﭜ
How would you know? Perhaps he might be purified,
Verse 4
ﭝﭞﭟﭠ
ﭡ
or he might take heed and benefit from the reminder?
Verse 5
ﭢﭣﭤ
ﭥ
But he who was indifferent,
Verse 6
ﭦﭧﭨ
ﭩ
you give him your full attention,
Verse 7
ﭪﭫﭬﭭ
ﭮ
although you are not to be blamed if he does not purify himself.
Verse 8
ﭯﭰﭱﭲ
ﭳ
But as for the one who came to you striving [for purification],
Verse 9
ﭴﭵ
ﭶ
and he fears Allah,
Verse 10
ﭷﭸﭹ
ﭺ
you let yourself to be distracted from him.
Verse 11
ﭻﭼﭽ
ﭾ
No indeed; this is a reminder –
Verse 12
ﭿﮀﮁ
ﮂ
so whoever wills may give heed to it –
Verse 13
ﮃﮄﮅ
ﮆ
on venerable pages,
Verse 14
ﮇﮈ
ﮉ
exalted and purified,
Verse 15
ﮊﮋ
ﮌ
[preserved] in the hands of angel-scribes,
Verse 16
ﮍﮎ
ﮏ
honorable and obedient.
Verse 17
ﮐﮑﮒﮓ
ﮔ
Woe to man; how ungrateful he is!
Verse 18
ﮕﮖﮗﮘ
ﮙ
From what did He create him?
Verse 19
ﮚﮛﮜﮝ
ﮞ
He created him from a drop of semen and proportioned him,
Verse 20
ﮟﮠﮡ
ﮢ
then He made the way easy for him;
Verse 21
ﮣﮤﮥ
ﮦ
then He caused him to die and be buried;
Verse 22
ﮧﮨﮩﮪ
ﮫ
then when He wills, He will resurrect him.
Verse 23
ﮬﮭﮮﮯﮰ
ﮱ
Yet he has not fulfilled what He commanded him.
Verse 24
ﯓﯔﯕﯖ
ﯗ
Let man consider the food he eats:
Verse 25
ﯘﯙﯚﯛ
ﯜ
How We poured down rainwater in torrents,
Verse 26
ﯝﯞﯟﯠ
ﯡ
and caused the soil to split open [for sprouts],
Verse 27
ﯢﯣﯤ
ﯥ
and cause grains to grow in it,
Verse 28
ﯦﯧ
ﯨ
as well as grapes and fodder,
Verse 29
ﯩﯪ
ﯫ
and olive trees and date palms,
Verse 30
ﯬﯭ
ﯮ
and dense orchards,
Verse 31
ﯯﯰ
ﯱ
and fruits and grass,
Verse 32
ﯲﯳﯴ
ﯵ
as provision for you and your livestock.
Verse 33
ﯶﯷﯸ
ﯹ
But when the Deafening Blast comes,
Verse 34
ﯺﯻﯼﯽﯾ
ﯿ
on that Day everyone will flee from his sibling,
Verse 35
ﰀﰁ
ﰂ
and from his mother and father,
Verse 36
ﰃﰄ
ﰅ
and from his wife and children.
Verse 37
ﰆﰇﰈﰉﰊﰋ
ﰌ
On that day, everyone will have enough concern of his own.
Verse 38
ﰍﰎﰏ
ﰐ
On that Day, some faces will be bright,
Verse 39
ﰑﰒ
ﰓ
cheerful and rejoicing;
Verse 40
ﰔﰕﰖﰗ
ﰘ
while other faces will be dust-stained,
Verse 41
ﭑﭒ
ﭓ
covered in darkness.
Verse 42
ﭔﭕﭖﭗ
ﭘ
Such are the disbelievers, the wicked.
