Verse 1
ﭽﭾﭿﮀ
ﮁ
Al-Ghashiyah
Has there come to you the description of the Overwhelming Event?
Verse 2
ﮂﮃﮄ
ﮅ
Many faces that day will be humbled,
Verse 3
ﮆﮇ
ﮈ
laboring, exhausted.
Verse 4
ﮉﮊﮋ
ﮌ
They will enter into the scorching fire.
Verse 5
ﮍﮎﮏﮐ
ﮑ
They will be made to drink water from a boiling spring.
Verse 6
ﮒﮓﮔﮕﮖﮗ
ﮘ
There will be no food for them except from a thorny plant
Verse 7
ﮙﮚﮛﮜﮝﮞ
ﮟ
that will neither nourish, nor satisfy hunger.
Verse 8
ﮠﮡﮢ
ﮣ
Many faces that day will be full of glamour,
Verse 9
ﮤﮥ
ﮦ
well pleased with their endeavor,
Verse 10
ﮧﮨﮩ
ﮪ
in a lofty garden,
Verse 11
ﮫﮬﮭﮮ
ﮯ
in which they will not hear any absurd talk.
Verse 12
ﮰﮱﯓ
ﯔ
In it there is a flowing spring.
Verse 13
ﯕﯖﯗ
ﯘ
In it there are elevated couches
Verse 14
ﯙﯚ
ﯛ
and goblets, well placed,
Verse 15
ﯜﯝ
ﯞ
and cushions, arrayed
Verse 16
ﯟﯠ
ﯡ
and carpets, spread around.
Verse 17
ﯢﯣﯤﯥﯦﯧ
ﯨ
So, do they not look at the camels how they are created,
Verse 18
ﯩﯪﯫﯬ
ﯭ
and at the sky, how it is raised high,
Verse 19
ﯮﯯﯰﯱ
ﯲ
and at the mountains, how they are installed,
Verse 20
ﯳﯴﯵﯶ
ﯷ
and at the earth, how it is spread out?
Verse 21
ﯸﯹﯺﯻ
ﯼ
So, (O Prophet,) keep on preaching; you are only a preacher.
Verse 22
ﯽﯾﯿ
ﰀ
You are not a taskmaster set up over them,
Verse 23
ﭑﭒﭓﭔ
ﭕ
but whoever turns away and disbelieves,
Verse 24
ﭖﭗﭘﭙ
ﭚ
Allah will punish him with the greatest torment.
Verse 25
ﭛﭜﭝ
ﭞ
Surely towards Us they have to return,
Verse 26
ﭟﭠﭡﭢ
ﭣ
then it is Our job to call them to account.
