Verse 1
ﭑﭒ
ﭓ
In the Name of God, the Lord of Grace, the Ever-Merciful. By the heaven and by the night visitor.
Verse 2
ﭔﭕﭖﭗ
ﭘ
Would that you knew what the night visitor is!
Verse 3
ﭙﭚ
ﭛ
It is the star that pierces through darkness.
Verse 4
ﭜﭝﭞﭟﭠﭡ
ﭢ
For every soul there is a guardian who watches over it.
Verse 5
ﭣﭤﭥﭦ
ﭧ
Let man then reflect: of what he is created.
Verse 6
ﭨﭩﭪﭫ
ﭬ
He is created of gushing water;
Verse 7
ﭭﭮﭯﭰﭱ
ﭲ
He issues from between the loins and the chest bones.
Verse 8
ﭳﭴﭵﭶ
ﭷ
God is well able to bring him back [to life].
Verse 9
ﭸﭹﭺ
ﭻ
On the Day when consciences are tried,
Verse 10
ﭼﭽﭾﭿﮀﮁ
ﮂ
man shall be helpless, with no supporter.
Verse 11
ﮃﮄﮅ
ﮆ
By the heaven with its returning rain,
Verse 12
ﮇﮈﮉ
ﮊ
by the earth ever splitting with verdure,
Verse 13
ﮋﮌﮍ
ﮎ
this is surely a decisive word;
Verse 14
ﮏﮐﮑ
ﮒ
it is no idle talk.
Verse 15
ﮓﮔﮕ
ﮖ
They devise many an artful scheme,
Verse 16
ﮗﮘ
ﮙ
but I too have My schemes.
Verse 17
ﮚﮛﮜﮝ
ﮞ
So give respite to the unbelievers; leave them alone for a while.
