About what are they asking one another?
Verse 2

ﭗ
About the momentous news,
Verse 3
ﭘﭙﭚﭛ
ﭜ
about which they differ.
Verse 4
ﭝﭞ
ﭟ
No indeed; they will come to know.
Verse 5
ﭠﭡﭢ
ﭣ
Again no; they will come to know.
Verse 6
ﭤﭥﭦﭧ
ﭨ
Have We not made the earth a resting place?
Verse 7
ﭩﭪ
ﭫ
And the mountains as stakes,
Verse 8
ﭬﭭ
ﭮ
and created you in pairs,
Verse 9
ﭯﭰﭱ
ﭲ
and made your sleep for rest,
Verse 10
ﭳﭴﭵ
ﭶ
and made the night a covering,
Verse 11
ﭷﭸﭹ
ﭺ
and made the day for seeking livelihood,
Verse 12
ﭻﭼﭽﭾ
ﭿ
and built above you seven mighty heavens,
Verse 13
ﮀﮁﮂ
ﮃ
and made therein a blazing lamp,
Verse 14
ﮄﮅﮆﮇﮈ
ﮉ
and sent down from the rainclouds abundant water,
Verse 15
ﮊﮋﮌﮍ
ﮎ
so that We may produce thereby grains and vegetation,
Verse 16
ﮏﮐ
ﮑ
and gardens with dense foliage?
Verse 17
ﮒﮓﮔﮕﮖ
ﮗ
Indeed, the Day of Judgment is a time appointed,
Verse 18
ﮘﮙﮚﮛﮜﮝ
ﮞ
the Day when the Trumpet will be blown, you will come forth in crowds,
Verse 19
ﮟﮠﮡﮢ
ﮣ
and the sky will be opened up and will become gateways,
Verse 20
ﮤﮥﮦﮧ
ﮨ
and the mountains will vanish, becoming like a mirage.
Verse 21
ﮩﮪﮫﮬ
ﮭ
Indeed, Hell is lying in wait,
Verse 22
ﮮﮯ
ﮰ
a resort for the transgressors,
Verse 23
ﮱﯓﯔ
ﯕ
wherein they will abide for endless ages.
Verse 24
ﯖﯗﯘﯙﯚﯛ
ﯜ
They will neither taste therein any coolness nor any drink,
Verse 25
ﯝﯞﯟ
ﯠ
except scalding water and discharge of wounds,
Verse 26
ﯡﯢ
ﯣ
a fitting recompense.
Verse 27
ﯤﯥﯦﯧﯨ
ﯩ
Indeed, they did not expect a reckoning,
Verse 28
ﯪﯫﯬ
ﯭ
and utterly rejected Our verses.
Verse 29
ﯮﯯﯰﯱ
ﯲ
But We have enumerated everything in a record.
Verse 30
ﯳﯴﯵﯶﯷ
ﯸ
So taste [the punishment], for We will not increase you except in torment.”
Verse 31
ﭑﭒﭓ
ﭔ
Indeed, the righteous will have salvation,
Verse 32
ﭕﭖ
ﭗ
gardens and vineyards,
Verse 33
ﭘﭙ
ﭚ
and full-bosomed maidens of equal age,
Verse 34
ﭛﭜ
ﭝ
and a full cup [of wine].
Verse 35
ﭞﭟﭠﭡﭢﭣ
ﭤ
They will not hear therein vain talk or lies –
Verse 36
ﭥﭦﭧﭨﭩ
ﭪ
a reward and a generous gift from your Lord,
Verse 37
[from] the Lord of the heavens and earth and all that is between them, the Most Compassionate; none will dare to speak to Him.
Verse 38
On the Day when the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows; none will dare to speak, except those to whom the Most Compassionate granted permission, and they will only speak the truth.
Verse 39
That Day is sure to come. So whoever wills may seek a path leading to his Lord.
Verse 40
Indeed, We have warned you of an imminent punishment on the Day when everyone will see what his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say, “Oh, I wish that I were dust!”
