Verse 1
ﮯ
ﮰ
Al-Haqqah
The Inevitable Truth!
Verse 2
ﮱﯓ
ﯔ
What is the Inevitable Truth?
Verse 3
ﯕﯖﯗﯘ
ﯙ
And what makes you realize what the Inevitable Truth is!
Verse 4
ﯚﯛﯜﯝ
ﯞ
Thamud and c?d cried lies to the Smiter.
Verse 5
ﯟﯠﯡﯢ
ﯣ
So, as for Tham?d, they were made to perish by the inordinate (storm);
Verse 6
ﯤﯥﯦﯧﯨﯩ
ﯪ
And as for c?d, they were then made to perish by a wind most clamorous (and) furious (Literally: rebellious).
Verse 7
He subjected it against them seven nights and eight days in gruesome succession, so that you might have seen the people laid overthrown in it as if they were the hollow stumps of devastated palm- trees.
Verse 8
ﯼﯽﯾﯿﰀ
ﰁ
So do you see any remnant of them?
Verse 9
ﭑﭒﭓﭔﭕﭖ
ﭗ
And Firaawn (Pharaoh) came, (i.e., after Thamud and Aad) and whoever were before him and the (cities of) falsehood, (i.e., the people of Lut "Lot") with their (habitual) sinfulness.
Verse 10
ﭘﭙﭚﭛﭜﭝ
ﭞ
Then they disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord, so He took them (away) with a surpassing grip (Literally: swelling taking).
Verse 11
Surely, as soon as the water (s) overflowed, (Literally: was inordinate) We carried you in the running ship.
Verse 12
ﭧﭨﭩﭪﭫﭬ
ﭭ
That We might make it a Reminder for you and for heeding ear (s) to heed.
Verse 13
ﭮﭯﭰﭱﭲﭳ
ﭴ
So, when the Trumpet is blown with one blowing,
Verse 14
ﭵﭶﭷﭸﭹﭺ
ﭻ
And the earth and the mountains are borne up, then they are pounded one pounding.
Verse 15
ﭼﭽﭾ
ﭿ
Then, upon that Day, the Inevitable Event will be fall,
Verse 16
ﮀﮁﮂﮃﮄ
ﮅ
And the heaven will be cloven. So, upon that Day it will be (very) frail,
Verse 17
And the (commanded) Angels will be upon its dimensions, and upon that Day eight will bear above them the Throne of your Lord.
Verse 18
ﮑﮒﮓﮔﮕﮖ
ﮗ
Upon that Day you will be set before (them), not one concealed (secret) of yours will be concealed.
Verse 19
So, as for him whose book is brought to him in (Literally: with) his right hand, he will then say, " (Now), here you are! Read my book.
Verse 20
ﮢﮣﮤﮥﮦ
ﮧ
Surely I expected that I should meet my reckoning."
Verse 21
ﮨﮩﮪﮫ
ﮬ
So he will be in a satisfied livelihood,
Verse 22
ﮭﮮﮯ
ﮰ
In an exalted Garden,
Verse 23
ﮱﯓ
ﯔ
Its picked (fruits) (are) within (easy) reach.
Verse 24
"Eat and drink rejoicing with wholesome appetite for what you previously did in the days gone-by."
Verse 25
And as for him whose book is brought to him in his left (hand), he will then say, "oh, would that my book had not been brought to me.
Verse 26
ﯩﯪﯫﯬ
ﯭ
And that I had not realized my reckoning!
Verse 27
ﯮﯯﯰ
ﯱ
Oh, would that it had been the decreed end!
Verse 28
ﯲﯳﯴﯵﯶ
ﯷ
In no way has my wealth availed me;
Verse 29
ﯸﯹﯺ
ﯻ
My (own) all-binding authority has perished away from me."
Verse 30
ﯼﯽ
ﯾ
"Take him, and shackle him up,
Verse 31
ﯿﰀﰁ
ﰂ
Thereafter roast him in Hell-Fire;
Verse 32
Thereafter in a chain of seventy cubits' length insert him!
Verse 33
ﰋﰌﰍﰎﰏﰐ
ﰑ
Surely he used not to believe in Allah The Ever-Magnificent;
Verse 34
ﰒﰓﰔﰕﰖ
ﰗ
And he did not urge (offering) food to the indigent.
Verse 35
ﰘﰙﰚﰛﰜ
ﰝ
So today he has not here now (any) intimate (friend),
Verse 36
ﭑﭒﭓﭔﭕ
ﭖ
Neither any food except of foul refuse,
Verse 37
ﭗﭘﭙﭚ
ﭛ
(That) none except the sinners eat."
Verse 38
ﭜﭝﭞﭟ
ﭠ
Yet no, I swear by whatever you behold,
Verse 39
ﭡﭢﭣ
ﭤ
And whatever you do not behold,
Verse 40
ﭥﭦﭧﭨ
ﭩ
Surely it is indeed the saying of an honorable Messenger.
Verse 41
And in no way is it the saying of a poet- little do you believe-
Verse 42
Nor the saying of a soothsayer- little are you mindful of!
Verse 43
ﭻﭼﭽﭾ
ﭿ
A successive sending down from The Lord of the worlds.
Verse 44
ﮀﮁﮂﮃﮄ
ﮅ
And if he had talked up against Us any (Literally: some) (false) sayings.
Verse 45
ﮆﮇﮈ
ﮉ
Indeed We would have taken (him) by the right hand;
Verse 46
ﮊﮋﮌﮍ
ﮎ
Thereafter indeed We would have cut (off) (his) aorta.
Verse 47
ﮏﮐﮑﮒﮓﮔ
ﮕ
Then in no way would anyone of you (be) debarring (Us) from him.
Verse 48
ﮖﮗﮘ
ﮙ
And surely it is indeed a Reminder to the pious.
Verse 49
ﮚﮛﮜﮝﮞ
ﮟ
And surely We indeed know that (some) among you are beliers.
Verse 50
ﮠﮡﮢﮣ
ﮤ
And surely it is indeed a (source of) regret to the disbelievers.
Verse 51
ﮥﮦﮧ
ﮨ
And surely it is indeed the Truth of certitude.
Verse 52
ﮩﮪﮫﮬ
ﮭ
So extol with the Name of your Lord, The Ever-Magnificent.
