Translation of Surah Al-Qiyamah in الإنجليزية from Dr. Ghali - English translation
Verse 1
ﮊﮋﮌﮍ
ﮎ
Al-Qiyamah
No! I swear by the Day of the Resurrection.
Verse 2
ﮏﮐﮑﮒ
ﮓ
And no! I swear by the self, constantly self-blaming.
Verse 3
ﮔﮕﮖﮗﮘ
ﮙ
Does man reckon that We will never gather his bones?
Verse 4
ﮚﮛﮜﮝﮞﮟ
ﮠ
Yes indeed, We are (always) Determiners over molding (again) his finger-tips.
Verse 5
ﮡﮢﮣﮤﮥ
ﮦ
No indeed, but man would (like) to act impiously in the (life) before him.
Verse 6
ﮧﮨﮩﮪ
ﮫ
He asks, "When will be the Day of the Resurrection?"
Verse 7
ﮬﮭﮮ
ﮯ
Yet, when the sight (Literally: the beholding) is dazed,
Verse 8
ﮰﮱ
ﯓ
And the moon eclipses, (Or: cave in).
Verse 9
ﯔﯕﯖ
ﯗ
And the sun and the moon are gathered together,
Verse 10
ﯘﯙﯚﯛﯜ
ﯝ
Upon that Day man will say, "Where to flee?" (Literally: Where is the fleeing?).
Verse 11
ﯞﯟﯠ
ﯡ
Not at all, no subterfuge!
Verse 12
ﯢﯣﯤﯥ
ﯦ
To your Lord upon that day will be the repository!
Verse 13
ﯧﯨﯩﯪﯫﯬ
ﯭ
Upon that Day man will be fully informed of whatever he forwarded and deferred.
Verse 14
ﯮﯯﯰﯱﯲ
ﯳ
No indeed, (but) man is a demonstration against himself,
Verse 15
ﯴﯵﯶ
ﯷ
Even though he cast forth his (ready) excuses.
Verse 16
ﯸﯹﯺﯻﯼﯽ
ﯾ
Do not move your tongue with it (The Qur'an) to hasten on with it;
Verse 17
ﯿﰀﰁﰂ
ﰃ
Surely upon Us is the gathering of it and its all-evident reading.
Verse 18
ﰄﰅﰆﰇ
ﰈ
So when We have read it, then closely follow its all-evident reading.
Verse 19
ﰉﰊﰋﰌ
ﰍ
Thereafter surely upon Us is its evident (exposition).
Verse 20
ﭑﭒﭓﭔ
ﭕ
Not at all! No indeed, (but) you (i.e., mankind) love the hasty (world).
Verse 21
ﭖﭗ
ﭘ
And leave behind the Hereafter.
Verse 22
ﭙﭚﭛ
ﭜ
Faces upon that Day will be blooming,
Verse 23
ﭝﭞﭟ
ﭠ
Looking towards their Lord;
Verse 24
ﭡﭢﭣ
ﭤ
And faces upon that Day shall be scowling,
Verse 25
ﭥﭦﭧﭨﭩ
ﭪ
Expecting that a (back-breaking) calamity is going to be performed upon them.
Verse 26
ﭫﭬﭭﭮ
ﭯ
Not at all! When it reaches the clavicles,
Verse 27
ﭰﭱﭲﭳ
ﭴ
And it is said, "Who is an enchanter?"
Verse 28
ﭵﭶﭷ
ﭸ
And he expects that it is the parting,
Verse 29
ﭹﭺﭻ
ﭼ
And shank is entwined with shank,
Verse 30
ﭽﭾﭿﮀ
ﮁ
To your Lord upon that Day will be the driving.
Verse 31
ﮂﮃﮄﮅ
ﮆ
So he neither sincerely (believed) nor prayed,
Verse 32
ﮇﮈﮉ
ﮊ
But he cried lies, and turned away;
Verse 33
ﮋﮌﮍﮎﮏ
ﮐ
Thereafter he went to his family striding haughtily.
Verse 34
ﮑﮒﮓ
ﮔ
(It is) more appropriate to you, then more appropriate! (i.e., punishment).
Verse 35
ﮕﮖﮗﮘ
ﮙ
Thereafter (it is) more appropriate for you, then more appropriate!
Verse 36
ﮚﮛﮜﮝﮞ
ﮟ
Does man reckon that he will be left in vain?
Verse 37
ﮠﮡﮢﮣﮤﮥ
ﮦ
Was he not a spermdrop ejaculated?
Verse 38
ﮧﮨﮩﮪﮫ
ﮬ
Thereafter he was a clot (i.e., a leach-like clot). So He created, then He molded,
Verse 39
ﮭﮮﮯﮰﮱ
ﯓ
So He made him of two spouses, the male and the female.
Verse 40
Is He (Literally: That) not (always) Determiner over giving life to the dead?
