Verse 1
ﮊﮋﮌﮍ
ﮎ
Al-Qiyamah
I swear by the Day of Resurrection,
Verse 2
ﮏﮐﮑﮒ
ﮓ
and I swear by the self-reproaching conscience, (that Resurrection is a reality.)
Verse 3
ﮔﮕﮖﮗﮘ
ﮙ
Does man think that We will never reassemble his bones?
Verse 4
ﮚﮛﮜﮝﮞﮟ
ﮠ
Why (can We) not (do so), while We are able to reset (even) his fingertips perfectly?
Verse 5
ﮡﮢﮣﮤﮥ
ﮦ
But man wishes to go on violating Allah’s injunctions (even in future) ahead of him.
Verse 6
ﮧﮨﮩﮪ
ﮫ
He asks, “When will be this Day of Resurrection?”
Verse 7
ﮬﮭﮮ
ﮯ
So, when the eyes will be dazzled,
Verse 8
ﮰﮱ
ﯓ
and the moon will lose its light,
Verse 9
ﯔﯕﯖ
ﯗ
and the sun and the moon will be joined together,
Verse 10
ﯘﯙﯚﯛﯜ
ﯝ
on that day man will say, “Where to escape?”
Verse 11
ﯞﯟﯠ
ﯡ
Never! There will be no refuge at all.
Verse 12
ﯢﯣﯤﯥ
ﯦ
On that day, towards your Lord will be the destination (of everyone.)
Verse 13
ﯧﯨﯩﯪﯫﯬ
ﯭ
Man will be informed of what he sent ahead and what he left behind.
Verse 14
ﯮﯯﯰﯱﯲ
ﯳ
Rather, man will be a witness against himself,
Verse 15
ﯴﯵﯶ
ﯷ
even though he may offer his excuses.
Verse 16
ﯸﯹﯺﯻﯼﯽ
ﯾ
(O Prophet,) do not move your tongue (during revelation) for (reciting) it (the Qur’ān) to receive it in hurry.
Verse 17
ﯿﰀﰁﰂ
ﰃ
It is surely undertaken by Us to store it (in your heart), and to let it be recited (by you after revelation is completed).
Verse 18
ﰄﰅﰆﰇ
ﰈ
Therefore, when it is recited by Us (through the angel), follow its recitation (by concentration of your heart).
Verse 19
ﰉﰊﰋﰌ
ﰍ
Then, it is undertaken by Us to explain it.
Verse 20
ﭑﭒﭓﭔ
ﭕ
Never, (your denial of Resurrection is never based on any sound reason!) Instead, you love that which is immediate,
Verse 21
ﭖﭗ
ﭘ
and neglect the Hereafter.
Verse 22
ﭙﭚﭛ
ﭜ
Many faces, that day, will be glowing,
Verse 23
ﭝﭞﭟ
ﭠ
looking towards their Lord,
Verse 24
ﭡﭢﭣ
ﭤ
and many faces, that day, will be gloomy,
Verse 25
ﭥﭦﭧﭨﭩ
ﭪ
realizing that a back-breaking calamity is going to be afflicted on them.
Verse 26
ﭫﭬﭭﭮ
ﭯ
Never, (you will never remain in this world forever!) When the soul (of a patient) reaches the clavicles,
Verse 27
ﭰﭱﭲﭳ
ﭴ
and it is said, “Who is an enchanter (that can save him?)”
Verse 28
ﭵﭶﭷ
ﭸ
and he realizes that it is (the time of) departure (from the world,)
Verse 29
ﭹﭺﭻ
ﭼ
and one shank is intertwined with the other shank,
Verse 30
ﭽﭾﭿﮀ
ﮁ
then on that day, it is to your Lord that one has to be driven.
Verse 31
ﮂﮃﮄﮅ
ﮆ
So (the denier of the Hereafter) neither believed, nor prayed,
Verse 32
ﮇﮈﮉ
ﮊ
but rejected the truth and turned away (from it),
Verse 33
ﮋﮌﮍﮎﮏ
ﮐ
then he went to his home, puffed up with pride.
Verse 34
ﮑﮒﮓ
ﮔ
(It will be said to such a man,) Woe to you, then woe to you!
Verse 35
ﮕﮖﮗﮘ
ﮙ
Again, woe to you, then woe to you!
Verse 36
ﮚﮛﮜﮝﮞ
ﮟ
Does man presume that he will be left unchecked?
Verse 37
ﮠﮡﮢﮣﮤﮥ
ﮦ
Was he not an ejaculated drop of semen?
Verse 38
ﮧﮨﮩﮪﮫ
ﮬ
Then he became a clot of blood, then He created (him) and made (him) perfect,
Verse 39
ﮭﮮﮯﮰﮱ
ﯓ
and made from him two kinds, male and female.
Verse 40
Has He no power to give life to the dead?
